Lowa Gore-Tex lined Mountain Boots

Been army surlpus (German I think) I realise that these Lowa Gore-Tex lined Mountain Boots are not the easiest to just go out and buy. This boot is the only one that I have ever had that compares to a wellington for water proofing. After even long periods in water and mud they will keep you dry. Comfort wise, they are good right out of the box. No need to break in or "thick socks". Ive walked several miles in these without any socks and no blisters. Not gonna win any prizes anongst the "Hiking Snobs" for style but will outperform and probably outlast anything else you can find! Mostly available army surplus or E-bay. Beware of fakes. Yes they are so good people fake them!
