Good Points
It's a great looking car even after 15 years. Destined to become a classic in my opinion. You see a lot of more modern cars that have been influenced by it without a doubt. The engine is fabulous. I have driven many cars down the years and take it from me, this baby is something special. The engine is very responsive and 'intelligent' (without all the modern-day electronics) in putting down and taking off power as you accelerate or brake.

Bad Points
Parking can be a little difficult with the restricted rear vision, but you get that problem with any sports car. After a while you begin to master it.

General Comments
My Honda Prelude 2.0i is automatic, which traditionally goes against the grain of a sports car, but the fact is you will spend half you time in traffic anyhow. My automatic is great in traffic. No need to constantly dip the clutch and crunch the gears, the car just eases through the traffic before you can open it up on the motorway. A Vetec this may not be, but the 2.0i has all the power you need. Between 60-90 the car just glides. The driving position is very comfortable for a tall person (I'm 6'2") and you have a great view of the road ahead. I have read several reviews complaining about the lack of room in the back. In my opinion this is ridiculous - it's a sports car - and sports cars have either no seats or bucket seats in the back as per the Prelude. The boot is actually not a bad size and you can get a standard-sized suitcase in there plus a few other things. Mpg-wise the car does about 25 miles/gallon in town and 30 on the motorway depending on how heavy your right foot is. I've found the Honda Prelude 2.0i to be very reliable too. As with any car I've had a few things done: a new radiator and oil-cooling pipe. I've also had some areas of the paintwork re-done. I paid £2000 for my Prelude, which is an awful lot of car for the money. It currently has about 68K on the clock. You see alot of examples advertised for similar money with over a 100K on the clock which I personally would steer clear of. You are better taking your time for a car with 50-70K on it from a private advertiser. The problem being that 'boy-racers' are starting to snap up the older plates and run them into the ground. I garage my Prelude and cherish it - it is a beautiful car.
