Fantastic!!!
After reading the bad review, I have brave myself up to have my birthday party at MoonSha. When I first arrive, staffs are so welcoming. Is a group of 18 of us. Our waiter is so helpful and given us enough of time before ordering. Even though the restaurant is SO BUSY. Drinks and Foods arrive on time. I was amazed the staffs bringing a cake for me and sang birthday songs with a Gong. All guests also enjoyed the teppanyaki entertainment. I can see guests dining at the teppanyaki truly enjoy it too.
Entertainment after meal? What a surprise!!! The whole group was taken upstairs for free karaoke. Amazing, nothing is too much. Room is a bit cold but staffs without any hesitation and turn the heating on for us and when we said is too warm they turn it off for us.
What can I said, WE WILL BE BACK.

After Hearing The Bad Reviews On Here About The Po
After hearing the bad reviews on here about the poor service and food quality of Moon Sha, we were quite sceptical as to what our experience would be like. We had passed it many times and had always wanted to try traditional Japanese cuisine as we had only had shop-bought alternatives.
We booked a table for 2 in the normal dining areas as we thought this would be better for a valentines meal than the Tepanyaki bar. We were sat quite near the Tepanyaki bar which was lively, entertaining and added to our experience.
Our orders for drinks were taken quickly and they gave us enough time to choose our meals. Our waitress was friendly and helped us decide what order to have everything in. We had the Sushi and Sashimi taster platters and the Tempura Mussels to start and we were really impressed by the presentation and food quality.
For mains we ordered a Bento box each. I had Kamo Duck and my partner had Teriyaki Chicken. Both, again, were enjoyable and of a high quality.
The total bill including drinks came to about £70. I definitely would recommend this resteraunt for special occassions as it does break the bank a little bit, especially if you have more drinks. However, that was the reason we booked it, for a special occassion, and it was worth every penny.
After my experience of Moon Sha I am shocked by the bad reviews as food quality and service were exceptional. We shall be coming again for a birthday soon and to try the Tepanyaki bar.

Book To Eat A Dining Table (not Tepanyaki), Ordere
Book to eat a dining table (not tepanyaki), Ordered Temperor set for starter and friend noodle dish for main. Food was truly terrible, the meat tasted very old and the flavour was bland. Better off getting a takeaway or making something yourself. Tapanyaki bar was much to loud and there is no seating away from it. Very over hyped over priced and I doubt any Japanese staff (only heard them speaking Chinese). Despite many staff the service was pretty bad.

We Have Eaten Here Three Times In The Last Year, E
We have eaten here three times in the last year, each time there has been a lively group at the teppanyaki bar which has been entertaining, We have always been served by knowledgable staff and with courtesy.
We have eaten at Yo Sushi and similar japanese restaurants around the country and would rate the food here as much better than the competition.
On average I would allow £20 per person for a good size meal including a drink. The drinks are pricey but when you put the whole experience together it is well worth the money.
Do not expect to eat out here for the price of a takeaway, but you should expect a good experience,

First Timer At Moonsha. Read The Good And The Bad
First timer at Moonsha. Read the good and the bad reviews but have to say my first time experience was great. I do think it's a bit over priced so unfortunately not a place we could go to regularly. Also I wouldn't go again as a couple as I felt the entertainment wasn't there compared to the groups - shame really otherwise They would have got a 5. I found most of the staff were really friendly but the odd one wasn't particularly the best but I think you get this in most places. I am certainly looking at going again in a few months with friends when the bank balance can afford it!

If You Come With An Open Mind For Japanese Cuisine
If you come with an open mind for japanese cuisine and culture, you will not be disappointed. Staff are friendly and helpful, the food is unbelievably exceptional.
My first time at this restaurant has fueled my fire for japanese cuisine, if i was a lottery winner I would eat here every day.

If You Are After Extremely Arrogant Service, Bland
If you are after extremely arrogant service, bland and over priced food Moon Sha is the place for you! family of 8 for Sunday lunch, missed 1 person all the time and when the bill came £185 they had added 10% service charge saying bookings over 6 warranted this charge. we said we booked 2 x 4 people and they said we should have seated you apart??

Food Was Awful And The Staff Were Slow And Unfrien
Food was awful and the staff were slow and unfriendly, most importantly it was extremely over priced!
We went to Moon Sha on a Saturday afternoon after doing a bit of shopping there was only myself, partner and children in there, it was empty!
The food was truly awful, so bad that it has put my partner and me of eating out.
We had a Bento box which looked poorly presented the rice was stodgy and the chicken was black and bony my partners duck was even worse.
It cost nearly £8.00 for 4 soft drinks, when in better restaurants you can get a nice bottle of wine for the same price.
I found this review very helpful because after eating there myself i can fully agree with all comments as it was a very bad experience, never, never again will we eat at this poor excuse for a restaurant...

We Had A Booking For 8pm At Moon Sha But The Table
We had a booking for 8pm at Moon Sha but the table had not been prepared in advance we had to wait half an hour for this. When we ordered drinks someof them arrived the others we had to chase for.None of the food order arrived until almost 10:00. Five people in our party had ordered set meals and a couple of their main meals arrived first. Several peoples other meals arrived in drabs and drabs with about 20mins between each persons arriving so everyone else had stopped eating by then.Noone who ordered the set meal received their soups. When someone asked what had happened to them they were told that they had been too busy with the Rolls Royce party as they were going to be paying £1000. Suggesting their custome is more important than ours when our bill was almosst £300.Me and my partner ordered a seafood platter and when we asked why we had not received this we were told it had been brought out and given to someone else. They completely forgot about two people in our party orders and it was way past 11pm before they eventually received their food.Whenever we asked for anything such as an extra bowl,a glass of water etc they never arrived. They kept trying to put other tables orders on our table as well.At the end of the night we tried to order coffees and were told that thge waiter highly recommends we don't as their coffee isn't very good ( well at least they were honest- I can't stand bad coffee). When we spoke to the party that were sitting behind us they reported similar problems to us that somefood arrived and some took ages to arrive and when it did it was stone cold. Although that party arrived after us they started to receive their order before usThey automatically add a 10% service charge to parties larger than 6. We had to argue to have this removed as they did not deserve service payment. W e also had to argue to get our change
