Orange New York

AVOID THIS PHONE! Against my better judgement I purchased the Orange New York handset a few months ago from an official Orange outlet. Within 2 days the handset started turning itself off, sometimes whilst in my pocket, sometimes whilst taking or making a call and also when creating a text, which was not saved to drafts!! I took it back to the outlet and was told that I could not have a replacement only a repair. The problems still continued Last week, during a trip to Newcastle the battery died and no amount of charging, mains or USB has brought it to life. As a consequence I had to purchase a new fone during my 6 day trip, but it wasn't on an Orange network. I've switched to Vodafone. I was an established Orange customer for years, but no more. I have written a scathing email to Orange. In my opinion, Orange were aware of the problems with this handset but still continued to sell it to it's customers. Mine is now lying in many pieces at the bottom of a wastebin. My recommendation is? Avoid this model, better still AVOID ORANGE!!
