ilovevince's review of Raven

“They are already calling it the next 'big cult...”

They are already calling it the next 'big cult following' show... and I for one would agree. For anyone who turns their nose up at childrens television (probably having seen "Dick and Dom whatever") I really must urge you to get home in time for Raven, you will be hooked after five action-packed minutes! Chances are you will quit your job in order to make space in your life for the Raven-time (as it is known in my household) and lets face it, you would be much happier without work. For those of you who are unaware of the wonders of the show, let me tell you, this man actually believes that he is a bird. And what a bird! Think dracula but less of the bat, more of the raven and less of the blood sucking, more of the demon out-smarting! For the next twenty suspense-dripping, tension-building minutes you can expect to be taken away to a far off land (I believe it is Scotland, due to Raven's accent) to shadow the young warriors (seriously, they are children!) as they battle demons with their minds. There is no physical violence. The children always win, thanks to the Mighty Raven and his Magic Bird Stick of Doom (there is no actual name for the stick mentioned on the show, however I think that it is probably the Magic Bird Stick of Doom). What makes this show of courage, wisdom and bravery so intense and exciting, is the fact that it is all real. Real people, real danger. I hope you will take my advice and watch as from now, you will not regret it.
