Good Points
Great fuel economy, huge load carrying ability. Fantastic handling. Great performance. Reliable. Very smooth drive. Comfortable driving position. Heated screens.

Bad Points
As its a TDDI, they lack a little refinement with the diesel engine compared to the later TDCI engine, but most people, and myself included, would say they are more reliable, especially when it comes to the costly fuel injectors which are a common weak point on the TDCI. The rear subframe bushes are a common weak point, but can be replaced for around £60 for a new set.

General Comments
I have owned this car for around 3 years now and bought it with 85K on the clock and the only thing that has needed to be changed is the rear subframe bushes after a year, recently a front coil spring and top suspension bearing. It never fails to start, and never complains or struggles when the boot is full to busting, with the rear seats down it offers a massive load carrying space.

It has surprised more expensive powerful cars on several occasions.

If I was to swop it, it would be for the ST TDCi model.
