Large hood, which almost covers the whole pram - excellent to use as a sun shade

Mamas and Papas customer services post purchase.
Folds really big - not good for small car boots.

General Comments
We bought the Ozon Sportivo in July 2006. It was on special offer, and it was a steal at £250 for the pram, car seat, MyPod, changing bag and sun shade. The pram colour was in zinc, and it was an end of line. Sophie was born on 12th August, and the pram was excellent during the summer months when used with the MyPod; very cosy and secure. The problems occurred in October - the zip on the hood which attaches the rain cover broke, the folding mechanism when erected wouldn't click in, and the brake wouldn't work. The last 2 problems were fixed within 2 weeks (pram sent off); however, the problem with the hood/rain cover was on-going for 10 weeks. I needed a full replacement hood, and due to the colour of the pram, Mamas and Papas were unable to give me a date when one would be available. I constantly had to phone them, and they never returned my calls when promised. It would have been a lot easier to call the shop direct, but this is not permitted. I was unable to use the pram all over Christmas and through the winter months. For this reason alone I would not recommend any Mamas and Papas products.



On speaking to a number of parents they too have commented on problems they have encountered with Mamas and Papas. People seem to buy Mamas and Papas products based on the quality name and reputation. However, they don't receive good customer care or quality products in return!
