Commander Cool.'s review of Green Giant Green Beans

“The net weight of the can is miscalculated. I weighed...”

Good Points
None.

Bad Points
Taste horrible, smell bad, and make me feel as though I am about to vomit.

General Comments
The net weight of the can is miscalculated. I weighed it at the post office. The giant isn't drawn very well on this particular can. His goofey smile almost made me not buy the product......it scares me.......DO NOT BUY THIS. IT IS A COMPLETE WASTE OF YOUR PRECIOUS TIME AND MONEY. As for its value for money, I give it 10 stars. I bought a five-gallon can for $4.99. I would not recommend this fine, delicious, product to all of my friends, but only some of them.

Commander Cool......Unlike peas, sweet corn and haricot beans, green beans are totally unsuitable for canning and even freezing. They will inevitably be tasteless. I can't speak for Green Giant, but other brands have been absolutely awful. Green Giant sweet corn is nice though.

Not worth the effort Sue: too indigestible. Anyway, you need green fingers!

Bertie could you give me a little more advice on how to grow a green giant without the beans or sweet corn.
