Sun-In Super Spray-In Hair Lightener Review

Good Points
I have used this, and other products like it since I was 14 years old; that is over 36 years!
It is permanent, and with a little spray at my part lines, it keeps the grow-in lines defused. People rarely guess that my hair is not truly as blond as it looks! And it is so easy!

Bad Points
The only draw back could be over-use in the sun. I usually use it with a hair dryer so I can control the amount of blond I get. If I just go out into the sun with it on my head, my hair goes almost white, and it's a little too blond for my skin tone. I did this in high school - my Junior school picture shows me with almost white hair and no eye brows, as the spray landed on my brows and they got too blond too. With the dryer I keep it a golden blond.
The only other bad point is the smell. I haven't loved any of the versions, yet. But, I just wash it out and it's all gone.

General Comments
After all of the years that I have used it, it has never damaged my hair. To the contrary, everyone comments on how nice and healthy it is, and the blond brings out the shininess too.



Over the years, they have made Sun - In Super, Spray - In Hair Lightner better and better, with more conditioners. Now that I am 51 years old, I find that Sun-In blends those annoying "White" hairs that grow in now with the blond, so I don't feel like I'm looking old. I can still see them as my hair grows out, but they blend right in after using Sun-In. On the underneath portion, I French braid my hair so that the underneath portions are on top, and the effect gives a very natural look.
