Good Points
Lovely place.
Spotless hotel.
Very comfortable rooms.
Great view.
Restaurant and bar next to the hotel.
Bad Points
Certainly the worst thing of our holiday was leaving the place. Other than that, there were no real complaints. We happened to go during low season, so it was quiet (I don't know if you count that as a good or a bad point). The only minor annoyance was the groups of snowboarders/skiers that thought they were just too cool for this planet, but they were actually pretty friendly.
General Comments
Saas Fee is incredibly pretty, and Alpenperle is in the nicest part of it. It's on the edge of the village away from the noisy bars, but only a short walk to them when you need a drink. The hotel is kept spotless, with very comfortable rooms. We had a balcony with a great view. There is a also a cosy restaurant and bar (Alp Hitta) just next to the hotel.
Saas Fee is a great place for a break. The glacier means you can ski all year round, and there's lots of entertainment in the village. Late summer is a great time to go because of the autumn colours.
