Good Points
Indeed a decent tool and will readily deal with even the quite stubborn branch, leaving a good clean finish. it is also a relatively light machine allowing one to work for longer, even in extreme heat.
Bad Points
The engine doesn't purr as per the Stihl range of hedge cutters.
General Comments
The Tanaka THT-210 is a good intermediate hedge cutter for the enthusiastic, amateur or the small time professional. However, my true loves come from the Stihl range. These ferocious beauties make the lopper virtually redundant in my garden and do not require frequent sharpening to maintain performance. They sound beautiful and the weight of them makes my arm calves taut and I feel like a man. However, back to the Tanakas, not bad at all. I use them for trimming my delicate buxos.
