I Bought A Pair On A Recommendation, What Hi-fi I
I bought a pair on a recommendation, WHAT HI-FI I think. Headphones looked great, and were well packaged, with various ear-peice options and a nifty carry-case. The sound was first class, with an especially good bass response; it took me back to buying Goldring cartridges in the 1970s and 80s, where Goldring was a premium brand.
Alas, they failed after about six hours use, worn whilst walking the dogs. A cable worked loose. I sent them back and a new pair arrived. They failed after about three hours spent listeing to music on a boat. Same problem, same side, loose connection. I have just sent them back too. I don't want a replacement pair. I didn't even ask for my money back again. For me Goldring is a dead duck.
