Remington 2X Protection Slim Straightener Review

Good Points
Worked very well at first.

Bad Points
Did not last long at all.
The writing on the dial wore off so I can not see which way to move it.
The outside of the plates where you grip while straightening gets very, very hot and is almost untouchable!

General Comments
I've had the Remington 2X Protection straighteners for about two years and within the first 4 or 5 months they worked very well. But after that they took much longer to heat up ( when I first got them they took 30 seconds, as they are meant to). They took around 12 or 13 minutes to heat up fully. The outside of the plates where you grip while straightening gets very, very hot and is almost untouchable! But the effect of straightening lasts until you walk out the door, it doesn't matter what the weather is it just goes back to normal. Also the on off switch is on top and many a times I have been doing my hair and wondering why it isn't straightening and then realising the button has been pushed off by accident. I would not recommend these to anyone.
