Good Points
Small very friendly hotel. Lovely gardens and a special feature for keen birdwatchers with binoculars/birdbooks available on loan, also a list of all birds seen in the gardens recently. Helpful staff an excellent chef and large very comfortable rooms with a fridge etc.

Bad Points
Some of the meat wasn't as good quality as it could be so some meals were a bit tough but meat in India too can be a bit daunting. At some seasons it's impossible to swim in the sea due to currents at monsoon seasons

General Comments
A very good value holiday suitable for any age. It's got a fabulous pool and safe gardens. Not a lot to do in the evenings although entertainment is provided some nights. A good beach very close by but hotel does not open directly onto it access is a short walk along a road and through another hotel gardens. Scheduled flights with Air Sri Lanka were a difinate bonus and added a touch of luxury to the holiday even in economy! A gift of a bouquet of orchids on departure made us all feel really glamourous
