Road Angel Navigator Review

Good Points
Well made, good battery life. Screen is high resolution and bright. Night mode is good.
The accident black spots and camera warnings are great.

Bad Points
The sat nav is horrible, slow and totally unreliable.

General Comments
In the few weeks I've been using Blackspot Road Angel Navigator, I've come across a lot a errors in the maps, many leading to being sent in the wrong direction. Biggest problem seems to be roundabouts. This unit seems to think many of them are just junctions, and then gives you totally wrong directions. Also had the map on the unit have the blue line you follow go in 2 directions at once when it got confused. Nightmare.



Im in the process of taking mine back to Halfords, but I need to have the unit unregistered by Blackspot first before they will accept it. Unfortuantely I had no option but to register it to get the software updates. Catch 22.

Can't recommend it, but maybe once it's a bit more evolved it will be a good sat nav.
