Good Points
Light and versatile. Very good resolution for the cost, and the 75-300 focal range.

Bad Points
I find that at maximum focal length, the lens loses some resolution, and that on my D100, it often will not focus at 300mm. Both problems can be resolved by backing off to just under 300mm.

General Comments
I purchased this lens for use with my D100. I do a lot of cropping, so pictures are generally enlarged 20-50%. I've found that when tripod mounted, the lens satisfies my needs well. There is some fall off in sharpness at 300mm, but can be improved by dropping back to around 280mm. I try to maintain apertures in the f1:8-f1:14, and at those apertures get edge to edge sharpness. Color rendition is wonderful. I am pleased with the lens.
