Reading Ed Mitchell, From Headlines to Hard Times and about the drinking culture surrounding a sociable working life and how easy it was to slip into debt was good - things I'm sure alot of people can relate to. I think it took guts and must have been at times painful to write. I wish him all the best.
My father was a well respected professional in the city who commuted and frquented the pubs around Victoria Station.
He didn't succeed in rehab and is no longer with us, but I found this book poignant and helpful.
No bad points - if this book helps Ed, his family, others in a similar situation, and highlights homelessness and the issues surrounding it, then its a worthwhile read.
