Dean Custus's review of Motorola PEBL

“The Motorola PEBL is a swish looking and feature...”

Written on: 26/07/2006 by Dean Custus (17 reviews written)

Good Points
It has loads of features
The snazzy opening mechanism

Bad Points
Absolutely atrocious reception capability. My 10 year old Nokia puts it to shame as far as signal reception is concerned.
Unless you are standing right next to a Mobile phone mast, don't bother.

General Comments
The Motorola PEBL is a swish looking and feature packed mobile phone, and it is very comfortable to hold and use, but that's it.

If ever you need it to actually make a call or receive a call, then don't bother! The reception strength is extremely poor, and my battered 10 year old Nokia 5110 wipes the floor with it. Using the same Sim card, my Nokia had full signal strength - 5 bars, but the PEBL had one bar, and on a few occasions it had no signal at all.

Oh dear Moto, it's not really Hello is it? Try putting a decent aerial in it!
