Mother Bruce, Tron Theatre, Glasgow

It was refreshing to see something a little different. The Tron pantomime is not your traditional festive pantomime. Mother Bruce is a fantastic, Glaswegian version of a classic fairytale. The small production has all the energy of a big budget pantomime, and in many ways is enhanced by the more intimate venue, where you are much closer to the stage. I would recommend this production to adults, and older children, around 8+. It is not unsuitable for younger children as such, but has less to keep them entertained. This is not a bad thing, Mother Bruce is aimed at a slightly different audience than your average panto. An excellent evening out, and I will certainly be returning next year.
