Good Points
Fabulous pool meandered round and under a rock waterfall, water slide which the kids loved. Rooms were spacious worth upgrading to beach, cleaned daily, staff helpful and polite. Ideal for a couple. Food excellent although all based round the buffet restaurant changed daily, plenty of choice
Bad Points
We had 2 weeks of the same nightly entertainment, who were good but a few nights was enough could have done with more variety. No kids disco which the children missed, ideal for a couple.
General Comments
Taba is an up and coming area, if you like exploring your surroundings this is not the place to visit. Ideal for people who want a relaxing holiday with plenty of fantastic snorkeling, although best in the morning as could get quite choppy in the afternoon. Food very good although had to pay extra to use the grotto restaurant, wine was very poor quality at £15.00 per bottle would have expected better, take your duty free around £7.00 for shot of whiskey, beer reasonably priced. If you can go all inclusive as drinks and lunch adds up over the 2 weeks. There is a supermarket at top of hill which is very cheap but can be a bit of a task getting there, even on the free shuttle bus. Cairo definitely worth a visit although atmosphere of pyramids ruined by hecklers selling tat, Fab hotel for couples especially if you like to relax as no day activities. Not really enough to keep children entertained, more at Sofitel and Hyatt.
