General Comments
I went to the Simply Blues American restaurant in Hornchurch back in March 2006. It was my partners treat to me (women can treat a man you know!) when the waitress went out of her way to 'give me the bill', I wrote to the director and pointed out that the waitress should put the bill in the middle of the table and not assume who's going to pay, just because I'm a man! I didn't get a reply, so I sent it again with a covering note asking why I didn't get a response. He replied 'it didn't warrant a response!'I won't bother again with the place! Who needs attitudes like that? Staff should realise this is 2006 not the 1930's, and not make assumptions. A simple letter from the director stating that my comments had been noted would have been enough!
