Comfort Suites Maingate East Review

Good Points
The Comfort Suites Maingate East was not a Disney hotel, but it is clean and comfy. Disney parks are very entertaining, very clean, and impressive - even for adults. Disney provides free transportation between it's parks and it's own hotels, but the times and connections can be hard to juggle.

Bad Points
Trying to match the Comfort Suites Maingate East shuttle schedule with Disney's shuttle and tram times was a problem for us. For this reason, we may stay at a prominent Disney hotel next time, or rent a car. The Disney water parks close at 5PM (too early in our opinion). We were not able to go to them because we would have no way back (due to our various shuttle time and coverage conflicts).

General Comments
We are two Adults & two children that visited Disney World in March 2003:

EPCOT and MGM were our favorites. There were plenty of photo opportunities and restaurants, fun rides, and lots of shows. The Tower of Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster at MGM were our favorite rides. Don't miss the finale show Fantasmic at MGM, starring Mickey Mouse. EPCOT was so full of fun technology and cultural places to see. The EPCOT fireworks at nighttime were the best we had ever seen. Don't miss em!

The Magic Kingdom has a fun Haunted House and great rides for little kids. The "Downtown Disney" park is mostly fun for adults. The Momma Rossa's Italian Restaurant in MGM had the best capuccino ever. EPCOT has the most varied dining options, as each "country" setting has theme restaurants and shops. Overall, food averaged $40 per-person-per-day, but we did splurge a little. We were very pleased and we really look forward to our next trip to Disney World. Hopefully next time we can enjoy the water parks.
