Good Points
Well built
Easy to clean
Large enough for 6 burgers or 2 large sandwiches
Bad Points
Takes up a lot of cupboard space
Does not extract the fat as described
General Comments
I thought the George Foreman 10946 Cafe George grill would help reduce the fat intake. However, the grill tends to 'steam cook' between the enclosed hot plates. The result is flabby fatty overcooked meat, and the fat does not 'render out' as it should. It is OK for grilling vegetable and peppers, and it is good for aubergine, but not really suitable for cooking meat of any kind.
Burgers OK 3/10 - Steak 2/10 - Bacon 5/10 - Panini 8/10
Sausages - 0/10 (do not even try)
If you care about your meat do NOT use this grill, use a conventional radiant grill, the oven, or even use the frying pan. You will extract much more fat and get a better toastier finish.
