Nivea Velvet Rose Review

Good Points
It softens dry lips instantly (but not long-lasting). Has a nice rose sheen.

Bad Points
It is too matte for my liking, didn't feel hydrating at all. Leaves lips with nasty white lines.

General Comments
The saying goes 'you get what you pay for' is exactly spot-on with Nivea Velvet Rose. I was so disappointed that I gave it away after two weeks.I have to admit that I am a lipbalm junkie so my expectations are high but this one is really rubbish. Although has a nice pink sheen and it does provide dry lips with relief(only for 1 minute),that doesn't save it from being poor-quality in terms of lip balm. It claims to contain a lot of hydrating and moisturising ingredients,I wonder where they are gone after trying. I know it is tempting to buy cheap lipbalms but this one is really the worst thing you can do to your lips(sorry)!
