I think the points above pretty well sum the Performance Power Pro PRO24CCHTA 24cc Petrol hedge trimmer up. Bought earlier this year, and used twice, it stopped working and the blades will not drive. I stripped it down, and found the clutch spring broken in two. I will be returning it for a refund. It is also heavy and difficult to use when cutting upwards on hedge face.

Tried to get refund from supplier B&Q, they did not appear interested - I had to take it to the repair centre where it will take 7 -10 days to sort AND beware you must take it back with no fuel in. This probably goes for all petrol engined units though. Unit still may not be covered by warranty. Would advise anyone to spend that bit extra and get a better make. See other reviews.
