I Bought My Lg Gc151sa Fridge Freezer In June 2004
I bought my LG GC151SA fridge freezer in June 2004 as I had just move into a bed sit. It cost £100 which included free delivery that same day for free. I plugged it in and it seemed to work well. I then tried to keep frozen food in the freezer section but noticed it would all ways defrost after a few days which seemed dangerous. I then decided not to use the freezer section. Lately the fridge has been freezing the food on the lowest setting which was annoying.
There is something wrong with the design of this fridge as the freezer section will not freeze but the fridge section will. I was toying with the purchase of a freezer to go with my fridge but I have moved now to a one bed room flat and do not have the room.
Yesterday I took delivery of a new fridge freezer and the faults of the LG151 are only too apparent. It is now on e-bay as it has to go.
I sold the fridge on ebay twice! Once for £15 and never heard from the buyer and then for £50 so £65 in total. That means four years use for £40 or £10 per year a real bargain.
