Good Points
Good value. Lots of toys. Performance isn't bad.

Bad Points
Thin body panels easily dented. Loses performance/MPG when A/C is on.

General Comments
I have owned a 2002 Kia Shuma 2 since Jan 2004 (18 months now), and I have never had a breakdown or any other failure on the car. It has remained a consistantly good starter in the mornings, all year round, and has the power to be comfortable.

The interior is very neat, and looks nice with the Leather effect seats. The dashboard is layed out nice, apart from the fact the steering wheel can sometimes obscure part of the speedo. Lots of electric toys like power mirrors, windows front and rear and central locking with immobiliser. Driving position is brilliant with the adjustable drivers seat with lumbar support.

I truly cannot understand other drivers slating this car, it's not at all as bad as other reviews make out. Yes the car is cheap, and the cheapness is in the quality of the car, but it is still reliable, looks good, and has enough power and comfort.

I won't be selling mine in the near future. I feel like I have had a good deal for my money with this car, and would recommend it to anyone (who doesn't expect a ferrari for a KIA price).
