Good Points
Well imagined, and well crafted.

Bad Points
Nothing, a great childrens book.

General Comments
Louis Sachars, Holes is a great childrens book, and my favorite childrens book to add to that as well. Holes is about...

(Synopsis): A boy named Stanley Yelnats, who is falsely accused of robbing a pair of famous baseball shoes, and has a choice between spending time in Jail, or to attend Camp Green Lake, the facility for Naughty boys, (or something like that, it's been a while since I read it).

The name Camp "Green Lake" would make it seem that the facility is located near a lake, but no, it is all desert, and the boys are forced to dig holes 5 feet deep and wide in every direction, everyday as their punishment. Later in the book, Stanley finds out that it's more then just digging holes, the warden is actually looking for a abandoned treasure chest somewhere in the desert, using her boys to dig it up, and look for it. And, then....bladdy bladdy blah.... To me the rest of the story is a little blurry and hazy, since I haven't read it in a few years, but its great anyway, which I remember most about it. Hard to put down, and mesmerizing.
