I used to have a hifi shop & despite the brand these really are the best headphones for Ipods (for several reasons)

at about £30 they are fine to take on holiday (I had a pair stolen once, but it was no big deal).

They are very efficient (db rating) they will go twice as loud as most other headphones.

The bass response is phenominal for such small headphones.

Suprisingly strong, that said over the last 15 years I have probably gone through about 5 pairs however they have a lifetime guarantee so you just send the old pair back & they send you a brand new pair (best service I have ever known) even headphones which have been seriously abused are exchanged for new.

I have a pair of Bose quiet comfert headphones (£300) which are good, but I still my portapros (£30).

Unbelievable headphones, you might look a bit weird with them on but with sound like this you wouldn't care.

Great for 3D Dummy head recordings as well.

Many years ago I bought a pair of these headphones for my sony walkman and was amazed at the sound from them, unfortunately I lost them and never thought I would be able to buy another pair, well the good news is I have bought another pair and can say the old days are back. Without doubt these have got to be one of the best sounding headphones available (regardless of the price)that you will buy. As you can read from my other reviews I like my headphones and will say if the product is worth the hype it has been given. These Koss headphones fit the bill of what headphones should do, regarding the sound they produce, great treble, fantastic bass and mid range. Whatever type of music you listen to it will sound great. I have listened to all types of music through these phones and can't fault them for the sound they produce. So go out or go on line (as I did) and buy these headphones for less than £22, including postage, it will be the best £22 you will ever spend if you want to hear great sounds from your mp3 player.
