Epson Stylus Photo RX500 Review

Good Points
All-in-one printer, copier scanner. Saves space. Decent print quality.

Bad Points
Not user friendly, ink costly, interface with computer bad, slow.

General Comments
I was really looking forward to using the Epson Stylus Photo RX500 of this new machine as I recently was married and had to send out photos to multiple people. I thought it would be a good value and be able to crank out pics. Unfortunately, there are many problems with the printer. One of which, I am beginning to believe the buttons surrounding the lcd screen are just a selling point, as you think you will be able to reset or clear the machine if it begins to act up. None of the buttons on the front work except for the mode buttons. Also, you cannot print at all unless every ink cartridge is full (not even black and white). That is where value ends. Also, if you are out of warranty, Epson will make you pay to talk to them. In addition the printer as another suggested seems to have a mind of its own. It is also extremely slow to print images. One positive is that when it does print, quality is pretty good.
