Good Points
Excellent service. Friendly staff. Food is out of this world. Owners do not live in the hotel but have a very hands on approach even down to driving us to their restaurant on the Glosglockner. Booked again for this year.

Bad Points
Avoid rooms to the rear. No balconys and no view.

General Comments
This was our third visit to Austria and so far the best. Hotel St. Georg is a small but friendly establishment where great comaradery develops amongst the guests who are nearly all English people. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the town and is on a steep hill.

The food was great and plentiful and the service really friendly. Once a week wine tasting is offered and this was excellent. There is a small pool and larger sauna area available. There's also an exercise room which is tiny and poorly equiped.

Recommended for people who wish to have a relaxing time and a little bit of luxury.
