Remington R9100 FastTrack TCT Shaver

I found this a very uncomfortable shaver. I usually have a Phillips rotary shaver but this Christmas my wife thought I should try a Remmington for a change. There is no comparison! The Remmington takes longer, leaves a bristley feel to my face and leaves my skin feeling sore even though I try to use it as lightly as possible. It is fairly easy to clean but that's all I can say for it. I secretly use my old Phillips when I can as I don't want to upset my wife; It was a gift after all! I would like to have tried this before she bought it and it would then never have reached my bathroom cabinet!

Buyer beware! These razors are considered "disposeable" if anything other than cutter heads need servicing. Two authorized service centers wouldn't even touch it to try and replace the rotary shaft because the razor is "hermetically sealed." Buy a Norelco instead.

The Remington R9100 FastTrack TCT Shaver gives me a very smooth shave. Quiet motor. Very easy to clean, its washable. A one hour (maximum) charge gives an hour continuous operation which for me is about 2 weeks of shaves. The 3 by 21 blade rotary heads really give a close shave. Taking the head apart for cleaning can be a bit fiddly but once you get to know it a complete clean only takes a couple of minutes under a running tap. Remington even provide a little cleaning brush, but I've only ever used that for the hair trimmer. Being re-chargeable it allows for a quick go-over rather than queueing for the bathroom before that important night out.

Best shave I have had from an electric razor. Represents very good value for money.
