General Comments
Bought my Nissan X-Trail 2.2 Dci Sport 4x4 in October 2002. Worked fine until summer 2004. Lost power suddenly :brought it to the garage and they replaced airvolume switch, I believe it was. This happend twice, next thing that happend was that the engine ran out of oil; the oil went into the turbo. Back to the garage, they drained it & changed the gaskets. Back on the road and voila; engine ran out of oil. This time the turbo is totally wrecked and needs to be replaced. The mechanics don't have a clue and are hoping this might do the trick. Does anyone on here have an idea what might be the problem? Really tired of this machine at the moment. Other than that it looks like it is on fire when going up hill, and it has got a weird noise when starting up, kind a like a whizzle noise?

<br>bought new xtrail sport diesel 2.2 .in may 2004. Noisy on start up pulls like a tank but oil leaking from intercooler, new battery fitted aug 2005. now dec 2005 and battery flat if left for 5 days, checked by nissan dealer they say every thing ok (AH.) Should not have these problems like this on nearly new motors. If they where using nissan engines instead of renault? might have a chance.
