General Comments
I picked up my P-97 Vauxhall Frontera 2.2 LWB 4x4 with only 64k on the clock for 5k. The body is mint, Spectral Blue paint job (nice colour) when I had this motor I had it fully serviced inc cam belt + rollers, all fluids replaced, new tyres and put a few bits on it to brighten the look up a bit. Done 10k miles when the cam belt snapped @80 on the M27 resulting in totaling a perfectly good engine, I had it recovered and sent to vauxhall for inspection where they told me the belt had not been changed, when I had payed a garage in Birmingham to do all the work for me.

I had a brand new engine and clutch fitted by Vauxhall totaling around £1800.

Since that I have never had any problem with anything on this 4x4, In snow and ice it's pretty useless in RWD but in 4x4 mode the thing is unstopable. The fuel consumption isn't that bad, I fill mine with £55-£60 and get over 400 miles out of a tank and thats without the warning light coming on.

Over all the Frontera isn't the best but it's far from being the worst.

A very good value for money 4x4. If people are going to slate Vauxhall for having a rubbish 4x4 go and buy a 60k Range Rover and compare it with the Porsche 4x4!
