Toshiba Rd-xv47 Does What It Says It Does Plus Mor
Toshiba RD-XV47 does what it says it does plus more that your average user would need.
No UHF out modulator. Although aerial through is available you can only watch what the machine is playing via SCART. so no distributing it around the house at UHF.
Clock needs to be reset if the machine loses mains power - waste of energy & safety risk when habit it to turn everything off at the socket when in use.
Sound volume level is very low compared to all other equipment I have ever had connected.
Re naming saved programmes with the remote control is horrid. its action is completely opposite to normal eg backspace & delete are wrong way around.
Toshiba not helpful when complaining about the machine not keeping time.
