Waste Of Time, Promise The Earth But Just Waste Your Time
EST and Home Energy Scotland are given money to help you insulate your home, improve your heating to be more environmentally friendly etc
They tell you you can get a grant or loan from government but after years of form filling, incompetent staff who have no clue what they are talking about, let alone how anything works, you are left in a mess.
My home was stripped of cables, pipes, plaster as I was told to do, then they would not do the insulation, so years later I have no home I can live in. Then they said my home is uninhabitable so i could not have the grant.
Scottish Gas, was supposed to do the work, but then they lost the contract, best keep well clear of EST.
