Elf Review

Funny, good old traditional kids films.

Fans of Will Ferrel form Old School and Anchorman could be in for a disappointment.

General Comments
Elf - After seeing Will Ferrel in the very amusing Old School and Anchorman I was keen to see Elf. However, Elf is definitely a Kids film and has a completely different sense of humour. It's a beautifully cheesy story as Buddy the Elf (Ferrel) realises that he's actually a human and not an Elf. He was an orphan and climbed into Santa's sack one Christmas Eve and brought up as an Elf. He goes to meet his natural father in New York who isn't a very nice chap. Buddy has to learn the ways of humans and put up with a lot, for they have not been acquainted with the elf kind. It is very Disney and kids will certainly love it in their stocking this Christmas, and it's one the adults won't mind watching either.
