“I am now on my fourth Sony Ericsson phone and I can...”

Good Points
Once you get used to the PDA type interface its dead easy to use.

Bad Points
The only one I can think of is that the supplied memory stick is too small at 32mb.

General Comments
I am now on my fourth Sony Ericsson phone and I can honestly say that if haven't got a bad word to say about them.

I bought my p900 about a month or so ago and it is fantastic. The interface is very easy to use, it takes a couple of minutes to get used to it as it is nothing like an ordinary mobile phone interface, but then it is no ordinary phone. The capabilities of the phone are pretty much endless. I use the calendar feature every day, setting alarms for meetings or to remind me to pay bills or just to remind me that my teas in the oven so it doesn't burn. There are dozens of programs available for download for the phone, so if it doesn't do what you want it to do then just download the software and it will, it is that easy. But having said that, the software that comes with the phone is quite extensive; though some programmes are only demo's and you have to buy it for it to work fully. My only niggle is that the memory stick supplied is only 32mb, which can be eaten up quite quickly, especially with mp3's, programmes and games. I bought a 128mb memory stick duo (which is the largest compatible one) for £35 from ebay and now I can pretty much download what I want. If this would be an issue for you then look at the p910i, it's pretty much the same phone but has a much bigger built in memory. In short, it does everything a PDA does and more and I would definitely have one again. If you just want a phone to act as a phone then this isn't for you as you would never use all the applications and lets face it, there are a lot of prettier and smaller phones out there. To call it a gadget doesn't do it justice, it is much more than that. it does everything but make the tea and I wouldn't be without mine.
