Ben77's review of Sony Vaio PCV-W2

★★★★★

“We wanted something with plenty of power that wouldn't...”

Good Points
PC, TV, video recorder, CD/MP3 player all in one piece. No trailing cables, tiny footprint, beautiful design. 160GB hard drive. Fantastic picture and sound.

Bad Points
Haven't found any yet! Except that it has no floppy drive to use disks from our old coal-fired PC. But hey!

General Comments
We wanted something with plenty of power that wouldn't take up too much room. Most laptops we looked at just didn't have the power/memory we wanted, and most desktops were just the same old hideous black boxes. For us, this computer is perfect. It's fast, has a huge memory, has no problems multitasking but best of all takes up so little space. Fold the keyboard in half - it's a TV. Fold the keyboard all the way - it's a hi-fi. And it does all this automatically. Quite rare to find something that works so well and looks great too. Expensive to buy - but would really recommend it.
