Good Points
Loud, stylish design, coiled cord is handy, they cover your whole ear, thus doing two things: keep your ears warm in the cold and provide excellent sound as the contours in your ear reproduce the sound better. That's why they're there :D

Bad Points
A bit heavy, that's about it really...

General Comments
I bought two pairs of Sony MDR-V700 headphones. One pair for walking around in and a pair for DJing. Basically, I can't fault them. Sony have done a tremendous job of making sure the sound quality is excellent for all types of music, whilst making them look damn good. This seems to be a bit of a problem for Mr. Sennheiser and Mr. Technics... Also, whilst I'm walking about in London with them on, they actually keep most of the sound out, which means the quality of music is highly improved, and little music is leaked from them too. The spring back mechanism on both of the earpieces is good too. When they're twisted, they swing back, thus making it easier to monitor. Basically, I think these headphones are the business and, like I said, I can't fault them in any way. I would advise anyone looking for headphones to go for these. And, guess what. I've had mine for 2 years (both pairs) and neither one of them has cracked. It's like anything you buy. Treat it with respect and look after it, and it'll last a lifetime.
