Baumatic BDW15 Built-in Dishwasher

We have had this appliance for 4 years and as a small household use it 3 X per week. The wash quality is mediocre and cooking dishes need a pre or post hand wash. The appliance has now broken down and it is impossible to find anybody to fix it. The Baumatic customer service line is constantly engaged and they don't respond to messages. If this was a free standing model we would replace it but as it is built in the purchase price and installation price make repair an option.

As with previous reviews, avoid Baumatic appliances. I have one and I am constantly getting an E4 error message. The previous dishwasher I had was a Bosch and it never went wrong. The only reason it was replaced was because we needed an integrated one. AVOID BAUMATIC APPLIANCES. I also have a Baumatic cooker and freezer. So far they are ok but wish I had taken more time in deciding on appliances but AVOID if you can. Buying cheaper is not cheaper in the long run if you have to pay for call outs!

Dishwasher broke down 6 weeks ago. Sevice from Baumatic has been dreadful. Have now been told the part required will not be available for 5 months. Avoid this dishwasher. Due to their poor repair service I will never buy anything from Baumatic again. Minimum score you can give is 1 star but really deserves none particularly on service and support.

Unhappy with BDW15 dishwasher. Just afte 2 year guarantee ran out, experienced E4 error (which seems a common problem on Baumatic dishwashers). E4 effectively means we don't know what's wrong. It's broken 3 times, first time took Baumatic outsourced service engineers 5 weeks to sort out, next time engineer was quicker, ordered new pump which took another week (even though we asked them to bring a pump with them on the visit) and within a week, E4 error is back. Each error results in leaking water which is v difficult in integrated built-in kitchen which requires taking the skirting board off the wall to fix. As it's out of gurantee, they will only keep sending an engineer or offer concessionary price for new machine rather than replace it altogether. Avoid Baumatic dishwashers and what they purport to be customer service like the plague!
