Flowers - What A Lovely Christmas Present They Wou
Flowers - what a lovely Christmas present they would make I thought. Wrong!
Daisys2Roses had a well publicised offer for free flowers worth £17.99, just pay £4.99 postage and packing. I duly ordered a bunch for my mum, along with a Christmas card. Delivery in time for Christmas the email promised.
Well Christmas came and went without a sniff of any flowers or embarrassingly the card I had ordered. However, Daisys2Roses charged my credit card for the privilege of ordering their wares.
For the next three weeks I tried in vain to telephone and email Daisys2Roses to find out where my free flowers had got to. Emails were not responded, the LiveHelp was never live and their telephone was either engaged or not answered.
Despairing of never seeing my £7.49 again, I contacted various websites advertising Daisys2Roses warning them of this company's customer services. Two webmasters kindly offered to chase up my order on my behalf.
Each sent just one email and lo and behold, had an almost immediate reply. (I was still waiting for my own emails to be answered, three weeks after sending them). To cut a long story short, these webmasters managed to secure a full refund for me.
It seems Daisys2Roses aren't interested in responding to their customers' emails, but when it comes to advertising being refused and poor web reviews it's a very different matter.
A big thumbs down to Daisys2Roses.
Hi
Just to let you know I ordered some flowers with a similar offer in November 2002. I still hadn't received them in January 03. They offered me flowers and chocolates and said they were very sorry and flowers and chocolates would be sent ASAP. My Mum never ever received any flowers or chocolates and is sadly no longer with us.
