Good Points
Low buying price, very good quality of printing, ease of use, Win2000 and win XP compatible.
Bad Points
Very expensive ink, bulky outside power supply, slow.
General Comments
I have had this Hewlett Packard Deskjet 840C inkjet printer for one and a half years. It is a very basic and slow (but cheap) printer. Not for printing 200 pages in a row. Very satisfied with it. Very good quality of printing. Use it mostly in ink saving mode, which is also the fastest, but have also printed scanned (with resolution of 1200x1600) from 35mm color film photos on A4 Pelikan Photo Paper and they really look good. Of course it is slow, and therefore not for the professional or heavy duty use. And no problems with reliability so far. Touch wood.
