Good Points
The 'feel' of the cars is simply superb. Some of the graphics are stunning, and they sound exactly the same as for real.
Bad Points
Difficult to get used to any consistency with the hand brake.
Traction control on some of the lessons is annoying, even when selecting 'off.'
General Comments
Gran Turismo 4 - I simply love GTs, all of them, and this is no update of the last. Prologue completely changes the way you approach GT. Although previously they have been very realistic, this teaches you soooo much more. Previously, you would be able to hold huge opposite lock bends, and smoke it round the bend. You really have to remove some of the hooligan element from within you. This requires concentration, to be as quick as you need to be to get good times, it is utter concentration. Every corner has varying amounts of grip depending on the line you take, and when the quicker cars start to spin, you really have to catch them quickly or you are in the gravel.
One of my previous faults of GT is the whack-them-out-of-the-way overtaking techniques. Not any more, overtaking takes a hell of a lot more planning than ever, and it is this that eats away at you leaving less brain space for game play, hence super concentration. In the lessons, touch another car and you fail, and in the race, you get a 10 second penalty.
This game is not for kids, as it stands, it is the best sim ever, but you really have to work at it.
All for £20. Bargain.

The Gran Turismo series, what can I say. All 5 games have given me hours of joy and happiness. With the latest installment I feel like they have crossed even more lines with the graphics, gameplay and cars. Everything about this game is first class.
