Bosch Classixx SRS 43C22

Run a b&b so use these machines a lot, took over the property with a bosch already in situ. After its life ended we decided to buy another Bosch, after all the missus still has an old bosch recon washing machine. After several months the door became difficult to open, eventually I had to strip it down, the hinges where kaput. I called an engineer who told me it was dead, the "chassis was twisted". This model is encased with plastic inside, and apparently outside too!

I have bitten the bullet and splashed out on a Meile on the advice of my "engineer".

To quote-Bosch are no longer the standard, they have sold their soul to the devil, units are made on the cheap in Spain and Mexico and the famous German workmanship is no more.

Check out Miele, its built like an industrial unit and has washed the dishes as good as the bosch,and that's on speed wash, just chucking stuff in to test for leaks etc!

You get wot you pay for folks...

Bosch Classixx SRS 43C22 = bad user design to me; ie to start switch off then on no simple go button. Quick wash a waste of time unless you have rinsed the pots first. Due to "quiet washing cycle" achieved by slower/lower pressure pump items are not thoroughly cleaned, quality of engineering leaves a lot to be desired rollers on loading shelves will not last very long also components internally of cheap construction/manufacture our old Hotpoint lasted nearly 15 years, but beware you get what you pay for

I felt Bosch was good quality and so the performance would be the same, but I wouldn't buy another after this Bosch Classixx SRS 43C22 dishwasher. I have to actually wash up after it finishes its cycle as it never clean.

My Classixx SRS orked great for the first 6 months and after that it slowly went downhill despite weekly cleaning. Stripped machine down but something blown on circuit board. This is a regular problem with this Bosch model. Try a search on Google. Avoid!

The Bosch Classixx SRS 43C22 broke down in 2 years despite very light use. Unhappy!
