Good Points
Small but charming hotel where costumer is treated good. The locals are also very friendly (not fake), on the island are not many tourist, it is not over-crowded like other places. The food was good, enough choice and not expensive.

Bad Points
At seven a clock it is dark in Dominica, the flight is not cheap because the step over on Guadaloupe (no international airport )

General Comments
We have spend 3 weeks on Dominica at Calibishie Lodges.

The island is beautiful!

Here you can sit back and enjoy life.

The hotel we stayed is calibishie-lodges and is located in Calibishie, a small village at 15 minutes drive from Melville airport.

Portsmouth is about 20 minutes drive and Roseau about 45 minutes drive from Calibishie.

Next to the hotel is a car-rental with good cars and not expensive.

The hotel is small but charming. It has six rooms, a restaurant and a swimmingpool.

The food at the restaurant is good and not expensive.

The staff is friendly and and gives you a lot information about excursions, local food, local drinks, tea from local plants...

We are a family with one child of 7 and we havend been bored fot one minute.

The manager speeks english, dutch and a little french.

It was a good holiday,no complaints, a happy family.
