Screen on my Advent 7007 Laptop has died after 18 months fairly frequent use. This together with PC World's so-called product support, ie rip-off phone calls that achieve nothing whenever I have contacted them, means never again with Advent or PC World.
No Windows disc supplied with bundled programme, PC World policy, apparently.
Battery life appalling.
Build quality appalling.
Price has halved, I think, since I bought it. I'm not surprised on one hand, and flamin angry on the other.

Mate, the windows disk is not supplied with most Branded PC's now. They have specific Restore disks or more common now they have a hidden partition on the Hard drive coz so many people loose CD's and claim they never had them. It is not a PC world policy but a manufacturer one. I have bought stuff from PC world for over 11 years and have had nothing but excellent service. Don't let the actions of a few out way the rest!!!
