Last Week, We Decided To Throw A Game Night At Our
Last week, we decided to throw a game night at our house. A friend of ours brought a game I had never heard of called "Wits and Wagers". I was kind of sceptical at first because I had never heard of it, but then I realized that it was made by the same company that makes my daughter's' favorite game "Cluzzle". The rules of the game are pretty simple and even though most of us had never heard of it before, we were able to catch on right away. There were ten of us, but I believe you can play with up to 21 people (WOW). We broke up into 5 teams. Each team is given betting chips, these cute little dry erase boards, markers, and tiny colored wooden cubes. Everyone is asked a really random question like "How many regular viewers does the Oprah Winfrey have in the US market" or something else totally random like that. Surprisingly enough, some people even get the right answer or very very close to it. Each team is asked to write a guesstimate on their little dry erase board. Then you place your guesstimate on the green mat. The teams get to use their chips to bet on the answer they think is right. You can bet on your own answer, or if you know your friend is really smart, you can bet on theirs. The answers are arranged from smallest to largest and they all have different odds and payouts. The winner of the game has the most chips in the end. Unfortunately, my husband and I did not win but we're ready for a rematch!!! This game is a real winner and got everyone really involved. Brought a little bit of Vegas right to my living room.
