Sounds like you were a bit unlucky there. Here's a bit about my experience:



I did my CBT at Metropolis Motorcycles in Vauxhall (who were excellent) and my Module 1 at Heathrow Motorcycle Training in west London, who were diabolical. I scraped through Module 1 and did not feel confident a) with investing my money with Heathrow for Module 2 and, b) that I would be a safe rider, regardless of passing or not.



I phoned around and discovered NLMT. Best choice I made, despite not being that close to me. I booked a 2 day Module 2 course and they booked the test at midday of the second day so, like you, I could get a couple of hours in before. The result? I passed my Module 2 with only one minor, something I attribute to the attention to detail and experience of my instructor (he was outstanding I have to say), rather than my own ability. For context, despite having ridden an automatic scooter for 6 months prior to the test, I had a total of only 3 full days training across module 1 and 2.



I would recommend them to anyone and have done already.



Having said that, if you were promised 2 hours training and were only given 40 mins prior, then you should seek some kind of remuneration. It does suprise me though because overall I found them very professional and fair.
