I work at home quite a lot and depend on a reliable connection: I've been with Zen for 5 or 6 years, during which time the service has been 'down' only twice, and then for only an hour or so.



I'm getting a consistent 6-7 Mb download speed in a rural area, miles from the exchange.



I've contacted their tech people twice, due to my own stupidity, and have found them to have a 'can do' attitude - "I'll sort that out for you now". Helpful, clear, polite, friendly. I can't praise them enough.



A while back I switched to a capped Zen service: always get notification in plenty of time if I'm going to hit my limit (seldom happens) and £1.49 to buy an extra Gig to tide me over is perfectly reasonable (and they carry over unused 'bought' extra time to subsequent months). The buy-time wizard is a breeze and the allowance is updated quickly - a minute or so.



I've looked around for a cheaper deal but whatever I find I also hear from a friend or colleague who has had hell with the company concerned. No hell with Zen - always straightforward. Of the two minor problems I've had (both my of doing) both were sorted out there and then on the phone, no problem.



Sure, they are a bit expensive, but you do get what you pay for. And you're not tied to a contract - minimum contract is one month. Worth every penny for a stress-free ISP.



Can't recommend them highly enough - try them for a month and you'll not regret it!



Have never felt moved to write a review for any company before, but these people deserve some (more) praise.
